Introductory Paragraph

Improving Students’ Reading Interest (Introductory paragraph) Reading is one of the most important aspects that can determine students’ success in their learning. So, fostering students’ reading interest is a very crucial for their language proficiency development. Teachers need a fun, engaging as well as interesting way to make the students more active in reading. However, in reality there are not many Indonesian students who enjoy reading English book as English language is not their main language. In our opinion, to overcome this problem there are several ways which teachers can implement in their reading class. Those ways are the reading material must be easy for the students to understand, a variety of reading material on a wide range of topics must be available for students, and learners read as much as possible.

The writer also explains that there were previous studies which have been conducted regarding the use of ER as an effective way to assist the students' English development either English as a Foreign Language or English as a Second Language. The aims of this research studies are to find the effectiveness of ER on reading rate of high school students in Japan. This researched study was conducted for 7 weeks. BIOGRAPHY NICKHUN           Nickhun is singer and actor in South Korea. His full named Nickhun Buck Horvejkul known mononymously as Nichkhun is a Thai-American rapper, singer, songwriter, model and actor. He was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California June 24, 1988. He is currently based in South Korea as a member of 2PM a South Korean boy band. Nichkhun was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California   to Thai parents of Chinese descent.
